The course of study is exclusively college preparatory. A tracking system for ability is used, consisting of three levels: Academic, Honors and Advanced Placement. Advanced Placement courses are offered in English Composition & Literature, English Language & Composition, Calculus AB, Calculus BC, United States Government & Politics, United States History, Biology, European History, Studio Art, and Chemistry. An Academic Catalog is published annually with more detailed information.
Grades are reported on quarterly reports as the unweighted, numeric average. The GPA is reported on transcripts as weighted according to the difficulty level of the course. The GPA is based on a 4.0 scale. Advanced Placement and Honors courses are given additional GPA weight.
