Adult Choirs
Saints Peter and Paul and its two mission churches St. Michaels Chapel and Old St. Joseph's are fortunate to have dedicated choir members who return to the ministry each year. Members attend weekly rehearsals from Fall through Spring. Each choir sings at one designated weekend Mass and seasonal liturgies throughout the year.
Additionally, all choirs of the parish sing together for special occasions, as well as bilingual liturgies with the Hispanic Music Ministry Group.
Bilingual Services
The adult choirs of the parish and Hispanic Music Ministry Group join voices each year during Holy Week. This is one of the busy times of the liturgical year when choir members attend not only their own church choir rehearsal for the weekend Masses, but also an additional rehearsal with the Hispanic Music Ministry Group to prepare for the Holy Thursday service. We really have a great time singing together and appreciate each other for the musical gifts each one of us has to bring to liturgy.
It is truly a blessing and gift when we are able to sing God's praises together.
