What is a School Counselor?
A school counselor is a helper in your school. She helps kids with things like problem solving, understanding feelings, and making friends!

What does a School Counselor do?

  • meets with students in small groups, and
  • visits classrooms to teach lessons about things that will help you in school, and out of school!

About Mrs. Connolly
Hi!  I’m Mrs. Connolly.  This is my eighth year at Saints Peter and Paul Elementary School.  Looking back to last year, we had a great year in guidance.  I love being a school counselor because I really enjoy working with children, teachers and families. It's important to learn how to get along with others, and to understand how to make good choices and solve problems.  Small groups will be offered in the Fall and Spring on topics such as self-esteem, friendship, dealing with anger, and study skills.
