Below you will find information about the financial policies and procedures of Saints Peter and Paul High School, including tuition rates, fees, payment options, and financial assistance opportunities.

Financial Office
The Finance Office of Saints Peter and Paul Church and Schools manages the financial affairs of the parish and its schools. Questions pertaining to tuition, payment plans, financial assistance and scholarship opportunities may be addressed to the Director of Finance & Human Resources at 410-822-2275, x108.

2008-2009 School Year Tuition Schedule

$7850.00 per High School Student

Discounts
Saints Peter and Paul Schools offer a series of discounts that provide families opportunities for reduced tuition.

Multiple Student Discount

$1000.00 for the second and each subsequent High School student’s tuition. High School and Elementary School students may not be combined for the multiple student discount.

Parish Discount

Saints Peter and Paul Parish offers a $500 per Parish family discount (The parish discount is divided if a family has children in both schools).  To qualify for the Saints Peter and Paul parish discount, the following criteria must be met:

  • You live within the boundaries of Talbot County.
  • Your Parish Census Form is on file at the Parish Office and is complete with current information.  This may be done over the phone through the Parish Office at 410-822-2344.
  • If you do not currently receive Parish Offertory envelopes, please notify the Parish Office and request that they be ordered.
  • The Parish Offertory envelopes must be used on a weekly basis.

The Finance Office will review offertory contribution reports and reserves the right to adjust the parish discount at any time if the above criteria are not met.  As long as the above criteria are met, the parish discount will be offered on an annual basis. Tuition Payment in Full Discount

Saints Peter and Paul Schools offers families a 5% discount on tuition that is paid in full by August 1st of the school year.

Tuition Payment Options
Families may pay tuition under the following options:

  • Monthly payments by automatic deduction of checking, savings, or credit card account through FACTS, a tuition management service. 12-month payment option begins in June or 10-month payment option begins in August.

  • Full Tuition Payment by credit card through FACTS by August 1st. This option must be arranged through the Finance Office and if confirmed by FACTS prior to August 1st, entitles the responsible party to a 5% discount.

  • Full Tuition Payment payable by cash, check, or money order directly to Sts. Peter and Paul Finance Office. Full tuition must be paid by August 1st and entitles the responsible party to a 5% discount.

When utilizing FACTS, it is important that tuition payments are collectible on the agreed upon dates. If FACTS has difficulty collecting tuition payments, Saints Peter and Paul High School reserves the right to terminate said FACTS agreement and demand payment in full.

Student Fees
Each student is assessed yearly fees that pay for a student copy of the yearbook, literary magazine, and student planner; Parents Association dues, class dues, school-wide testing costs, EDLINE service, technology fees, and support for the student life, campus ministry and athletic programs of the school. The senior fees are higher to reflect the cost for senior activities, baccalaureate, and commencement.

Student fees are $550.00 for 9th-11th Graders, and $750.00 for 12th Graders with additional testing fees applied for those students who take Advanced Placement tests.

Financial Assistance
Both the Diocese of Wilmington and Saints Peter and Paul Schools have limited amounts of financial assistance available for families who meet financial criteria. Sts. Peter and Paul Schools have joined with the Diocese of Wilmington regarding the financial assistance application process. Any family interested in pursuing financial assistance must complete the Diocesan/PSAS application. This application will provide your family the opportunity to be considered for both parish/school and diocesan financial assistance. There is a $21.00 processing fee and applications must be submitted directly to PSAS.
