NATIONAL MAGAZINE FEATURES SSPP ART TEACHER REBECCA WHEATLEY AND STUDENTS FOR LIGHTED SCULPTURE INNOVATION
Saints Peter & Paul elementary and middle school art teacher Rebecca Wheatley was not thinking about recognition when she invited students to participate in a project to collaboratively develop an additive sculpture and demonstrate innovation by creating lighted centerpieces to decorate forty tables at the SSPP Gala event in April and an additional massive sculpture that is currently displayed in the school foyer. The nationally acclaimed Arts &Activities Magazine featured a two-plus page spread, titled Demonstrating Innovation Through Lighted Sculpture in its May 2017 issue.
