​Mrs. Wilson is a product of 12 years of Catholic education.  A graduate of Padua Academy in 1985, she is a strong believer in the importance of a Catholic foundation.  She started her professional career working for WBOC-TV, later joining Preston Automotive Group, and is now the Executive VP. Mrs. Wilson oversees Human Resources, Payroll, Expense Control, Contract Negotiations and Civic Involvement.

Mrs. Wilson is a member of SSPP parish. She and her husband Dave reside in Preston, Maryland.
​They have five children: Angie, David, Jr., Brittany, Marina, and Daria.  Both Marina ’16 and Daria ’21 have attended SSPP School since Pre-K.

Joe Diamond

​Mr. Diamond holds a BA in Psychology, an MBA, and an MS in National Resource Strategy. He is a retired member of the Senior Executive Service. He was Director of the Small Business Program Department of the Air Force and was the Program Executive Officer for Air Force Weapons. He served 23 years in the Air Force.

Mr. Diamond has been a volunteer sacristan for SSPP Church for the past 11 years, is an active member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society, and is currently President of the Southeast Neighborhood Association, Easton, MD. He has received the Meritorious Executive Presidential Rank Award and the Order of Merit Award from the Diocese of Wilmington.

Bernie Grove

​Mr. Grove, a graduate of the University of Maryland, has had careers in farming, heavy construction, and banking.  He is married to Carol and has 6 children, all graduates of St. John’s Catholic High School in Frederick, MD.  He was a member of the original Board of Directors in 1972 when St. John’s was closed as a parish school and reopened as a private Catholic school.  He was a co-founder of Friends of Catholic Education (FOCE) in Frederick, MD.
           
​Mr. Grove is presently a board member of Faithful Advocates of Catholic Education on the Eastern Shore (FACES).  Also, he is a member of SSPP Parish Council and a member of the Executive Building Committee.

Wayne Hockmeyer

Dr. Hockmeyer is a fellow parishioner of SSPP Church.  He grew up in Evansville, IN, having had the benefit of 12 years of Catholic education prior to attending Purdue University where he received his BS.  Later he received his PhD from the University of Florida.  He and his late wife Mary were ardent supporters of education believing it lifts all people. 

Dr. Hockmeyer is a Vietnam veteran and a retired United States Army officer.  He has had years of experience in medical research and the biotechnology industry.  Following his military service, he founded MedImmune Inc., a publicly traded biotechnology company, and he served as its Chairman and CEO until it was acquired by AstraZeneca in 2007. 
​
​Dr. Hockmeyer has served on many public company and not-for-profit boards.  He is currently Chairman of the Board of Indian River Medical Center and Gen.Vec. Inc.  He is privileged to have his son, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren in our local community.

Bette Kenzie

​Mrs. Kenzie received a BA from Bucknell University and an MS in Biology from Cornell.  Her Maryland teaching experience includes several Baltimore independent schools, including Roland Park Country School, Boys’ Latin School, Garrison Forest School, and St. Paul’s School for Girls where she was Head of the Upper School.
           
Mrs. Kenzie also served on the boards of Boys’ Latin School, Garrison Forest School, and St. Paul’s School for Girls.  Locally, she has or is serving on the boards of The Country School, Hospice, YMCA, BAAM, CACC, and the Academy Art Museum.
           
​Mrs. Kenzie feels privileged to be joining the SSPP School Advisory Board.

Martin Knott

Mr. Knott is CEO of Wye River Technologies, a software platform serving the building owners’ industry.  Most recently, he was Chair, CEO, and MD of Moodlerooms, the world largest provider of the educational software product, Moodle.  Prior to those roles, he spent 26 years as the owner of a mechanical contracting company in central Maryland.
​
Mr. Knott is on the Advisory Board for the School of Architecture at the University of Notre Dame, has been Chair of the Advisory Board for the School of Education at Loyola University in Maryland, a board member for the Peabody Institute, the Kennedy-Kreiger Institute, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and numerous other non-profits.

Larry Patterson

​Dr. Patterson is a retired school administrator with 47 years in education.  He has a BA in Mathematics, an MA and PhD in Education.  After serving in education in NJ, PA, and KY, Dr. Patterson moved to Cambridge, MD, where he was an administrator for Dorchester County Schools. His areas of expertise include curriculum, instruction, school policy and law, personnel, and administration. Since retiring, he has taught students who would not have been successful in a normal high school setting.

​Dr. Patterson is a member of SSPP parish and a Eucharistic Minister. He looks forward to sharing his expertise with the School Advisory Board for the good of SSPP School.

Carol Ripken

C​arol Ripken benefited from receiving 16 years of Catholic education and has been a Catholic school educator for more than 40 years.  She holds a bachelor’s degree in secondary education and a master’s degree in educational administration.  She currently serves as the Associate Superintendent for the Diocese of Wilmington.  Prior to this role, Ms. Ripken served as: a high school English and Social Studies teacher, Dean of Students, Assistant Principal, Principal of three high schools in both urban and suburban areas, and the Associate Superintendent for the Archdiocese of Baltimore.
 
Ms. Ripken currently serves as a Board member for both the Maryland Catholic Conference and for the Center for Catholic Schools Excellence of Mount St. Mary's College in Emmitsburg, Maryland. She has led and served on both district and school accreditation teams as well as operational viability teams throughout the United States.
 
Ms. Ripken is delighted to serve as the diocesan representative to the Saints Peter and Paul School Advisory Board.

Pat Vazzana

​Mrs. Vazzana holds a BS from Towson University and a MEd from Loyola University.  She taught Freshman English at Calvert Hall College High School in Towson for 18 years.  There she was responsible for lectures to 250 students followed by small seminars of 15-25 students.  All four of her sons are graduates of CHC.
​
After retiring in 2004, Mrs. Vazzana and her husband Mike moved to Easton.  She has taught 9th grade Sunday School, and she is a Eucharistic Minister to the Sick.  Serving on the School Advisory Board will give her an opportunity to continue supporting Catholic education.

Margaret White

Mrs. White comes to the SSPP School Advisory Board having served 20 years in Catholic education as faculty and school administrator. She earned a BA from Notre Dame of Maryland University and an MAR from Yale University Divinity School.
​
Mrs. White is the author and co-photographer of seven photo essay books, two on the Chesapeake Bay Country.  Her recent move from the Western to Eastern Shore brings her to the area where she enjoys her children and grandchildren - all Easton residents.

Richard Favretto

Mr. Favretto, who grew up in New York City, is the product of 19 years of Catholic education, culminating in a law degree from The Catholic University of America.  He has lived in the Washington, D.C. area since June 1970.

Mr. Favretto began his professional career as a lawyer in the U.S. Department of Justice where he spent 15 years as a trial and supervising attorney responsible for civil and criminal antitrust prosecutions, ultimately serving as Deputy Assistant Attorney General and Acting Assistant Attorney General in charge of the Antitrust Division.  Thereafter, he became a partner at Mayer Brown LLP, an international law firm, representing business clients in antitrust and corporate litigation, mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures.  While a partner at Mayer Brown, Mr. Favretto served on the firm’s Management Committee and as Partner-in-Charge of its Washington office.  He is currently Senior Counsel at the firm.  

Mr. Favretto and his wife, Fran presently reside in Bethesda, Maryland but spend increasing amounts of time at their home on the Choptank River in Trappe, Maryland.  They are blessed with five children and eleven grandchildren who enjoy gathering and sharing family experiences together on Maryland’s Eastern shore.

Teresa Mitchell

Teresa Mitchell is a Class of 2012 alumni of Saints' Peter & Paul School and was enrolled Pre-K through 12. Her older brother, Dorian, also graduated from SSPP in 2008. In 2016, Teresa graduated from Mount St. Mary's University with a Bachelors degree in Business is currently pursuing her MBA at  University of Baltimore. Teresa currently serves on the Board for Delmarva Real Estate Management Group, LLC.

Teresa has a vizsla dog, Temi, who she loves to bring with her and her fiance, Curtis, on adventures. Teresa currently lives in Easton with her parents, where she takes care of her mother, Maria, who has Alzheimer's. Teresa and her fiance will be getting married in 2019.
